Ferrill Family
Our branch of the Ferrill family genealogy is well documented in some places and sketchy in others.
The Ferrill name comes from Ireland according to one researcher. For more information on the Ferrill/Ferrell connection, refer to Caulean Vesey's website. She goes into detail with the genealogy of Enoch Ferrell. She conjectures that Thomas S. Ferrill may have been a brother or cousin of Charles Ferrell.
In any event, the earliest reference I've found to Thomas Ferrill is in Virginia. From there, he moved to South Carolina, which is where this branch of the Ferrill saga begins.

Add to the Ferrill Family Tree
If you have information about the Ferrill family before 1850, and would like to share, please email your data and we'll add it to the tree.
Please send only information that you have confirmed with a reliable source or has some type of documentary support. Census reports, birth records, certificates, probate records, and family bible info is all useful. Anything that can be used to cross check and verify content is useful. We want to avoid duplication and messy "name collecting" that can't be validated.
